Title Department

Landmark maintains a state of the art, in-house title plant which allows our associates to conduct title search and examination functions within our main office. Our title plant includes an online search function, a direct computer link to the Salt Lake County Recorder, the Salt Lake County Treasurer and the Utah Division of Corporations. We employ veteran title examiners who have decades of experience in dealing with the unique issues involved in the search and examination of title to both residential and commercial properties.

Escrow Department

Landmark offers settlement services at each of our two offices. Our escrow officers are familiar with all forms customarily used by realtors and lenders in the structuring of a sale or loan and they are proficient in the preparation of settlement statements and other documents required for the completion of residential and commercial real estate transactions. Our escrow officers are licensed by the Utah State Insurance Department and complete annual continuing education courses to sharpen their skills and stay abreast of new developments in the marketplace.

Commercial Real Estate Services

Landmark is a well-recognized source of title and escrow services for commercial real estate transactions in the state of Utah. A review of the list of our commercial projects provides evidence of the satisfaction and loyalty of our commercial clients. Our President and General Counsel, Jeffrey J. Jensen, is a thirty year veteran of the title insurance industry and past president of the Real Property Section of the Utah State Bar Association as well as the Utah Land Title Association. He oversees the closing of all commercial projects at Landmark. Our proficiency in the closing of commercial real estate transactions has earned us the respect of lawyers, real estate agents and loan officers throughout Utah and the United States.
